From hotels to golf club houses, marquees to farms, there are a variety of venues available for wedding receptions. Reception flowers usually follow the theme of the brides bouquet and ceremony flowers and typically include:
Table Centrepieces - whether this be a single potted plant, a small arrangement or a dramatice display of flowers. The centrepiece can set the scene and create both mood and ambience for the reception venue. Careful consideration needs to be given to the shape and size of the tables and the number of guests on each table.
Top Table - Usually using the same flowers as the table centrepieces but in a low arrangement across the front of the top table, if using a semi-circular table the arrangement could also be curved. A low arrangement means the guests can clearly see all of the bridal party.
Room Decoration - this could incorporate pedestal arrangements and or window ledge decorations.
Chair Decoration - from a simple bow to a hanging flower arrangement, this is a beautiful way to decorate a smaller wedding reception.
Cake Table - a smaller version of the table centrepiece could be used to decorate the cake or present table.
Seating Plan - if the seating plan is to be displayed on an easel then a colour coordinated bow or small spray of flowers could be used to decorate the easel.
